It's been a while since I've offered mini sessions and this is the first time I'm offering digital images. While I stand behind professional printing as the best solution for displaying your images, I also know this is Christmas card and gift season and I would love for you to be able to use these images for all of your holiday needs. Large prints, canvases, metal prints and all of the usual custom products I offer are still available for purchase if you choose to do so in addition to your 5 digital images. Additional digital images will also be available for $10 each. I have 2 slots per week available at this amazing price point so don't hesitate to contact me today to book your session. Also, be sure to head on over to the Olga Ford Photography Facebook page and hit like if you haven't already. Share this news with all of your friends from the FB page because every share gets an additional entry and your fall mini session just may end up being FREE! I love photography and servicing the McNairy County area. This giveaway is my thanks to all of you for helping let the community know that I am here and I love capturing memories with y'all. It is a blessing and a gift that truly humbles me to know how valuable these images really are of the people you love. Clients, I thank you for letting me be your photographer. This journey has been a blessing indeed and I'm looking forward to many more smiles!

The Facebook small business community is buzzing about recent changes. Unfortunately, it's not buzzing about any good changes. Posts on business pages have reached an all time low as far as reach goes. While I am thankful for all of the free advertising I have received in the past, it is getting more difficult to reach my target audience (you) with the information I want you all to know. Small businesses, like myself, just don't have the capital it takes to run a huge marketing campaign with a daily budget. There are also strict guidelines that wouldn't even allow me to promote most of my posts. This is why I am going to be sending out periodic newsletters to let all of my current and future clients know about any specials, mini sessions, flash sales and such that I may be running. I want to provide the best possible photography service in McNairy County and surrounding areas and am willing to go the extra mile to do that. I offer a unique and customized product and I love, love, love to work with clients to get images they fall in love with. Fall is coming and I am looking to do a few different sets of minis. This is also a great time to book full family sessions. Full sessions completed before Christmas will now receive a digital download of your favorite image, sized for your Christmas cards! I will have details on all of this coming soon so be sure to sign up for e-mail updates. You can e-mail me at [email protected] and get on that list today! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Don't forget about my referral and repeat client program =). It rocks! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or to book your fall session. I'm looking forward to working with y'all to make it an unforgettable portrait season! http://www.olgafordphoto.com (919)638-1066 Here is an example of some of the items I have in my prop collection. Some of these props that I use to create memories for you, in fact, also stir memories for me. The most meaningful memories are attached to the photo on the middle right. That sock monkey is not from Target or Amazon. He was lovingly made by volunteers at the UNC Hospital where my youngest began his troublemaking career. The blanket on the side of him was knitted as a present for my oldest. My boys both played with the wooden bulldozer to the left. I've found many of these props perusing antique stores and thrift shops. I scrutinize these places with a photographer's eye as I walk around making sure not to miss athing. Yet other items are made by myself or my friends. I came up with the idea for the umbrella back in March. I didn't find everything I needed to make it until this month but I'm very pleased with the outcome. I can't wait to use it in a session! My friend Christi knitted all of the beautiful items that my kids' stuffed animal are modeling while sitting in my super cute Coca Cola crate, an epic find. I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into my prop collection. This is just a small part of it. If you haven't liked my Facebook page yet go check it out now! You can link to it right from the top of the blog. You'll be able to see these and other props at work and also see my sessions where I don't use any at all, which is usually the case. www.olgafordphoto.com Hey, Class of 2014 and parents! If you are looking for a casual portrait photographer for your senior session you have found the right place. I work with my seniors right from when your custom session is booked. I tailor each session around your personality, interests and hobbies. I don't mold anybody to fit any certain image or style. I like to showcase each person's individuality and really create your session to be your own. I am here to help with wardrobe and styling as well as prop choices if you choose to use any. I like to use multiple locations and wardrobe changes to really give a variety of looks for a unique session experience. I also hold an ordering session after there has been ample time to view the online gallery and help you decide on product orders and have samples available for viewing. I find this personal ordering session is a great time for me to answer any questions you may have since there is such a huge array beautiful products available from collage prints to albums to cards to canvases and much, much more. I can also custom design products to fit your needs. I have had such a wonderful time photographing these seniors and all of the others I have had the pleasure of working with. Each session has truly been an adventure for me. If you have any questions or would like to book a session I encourage you to call today. I also have a referral and repeat customer program so don't forget to tell all of your friends. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest so give me follow! www.olgafordphoto.com I know what you're thinking. How did I manage to contain myself with all this cuteness?!?!?! Well folks, I am a professional and waited until after the upload to deal with that ;). Seriously though, Miss Gia was so cute in her little outfit!!! She preferred the pinwheel (see photos on website) to smashing the cake but looked darling the whole time. Superstar! Meet the lovely Jordan! We had a great time shooting downtown Adamsville and in Bethel Springs. She did a great job picking her wardrobe, didn't she? She was also a good sport for my wacky gumball machine idea. We had the perfect weather and I was able to capture that final shot (with the sign) just as I had envisioned. I am totally pumped for senior season and can't wait to share the rest of my senior sessions this month! www.olgafordphoto.com The night before this shoot I went out to the location and checked it out. I thought it was pretty cool. Barns, an old decrepit house, I can dig this. The shoot was going well, had some pretty light to work with and THEN I noticed the light coming in from the cracks of the barn. The shoot went from good to magical in 1.3 seconds! There is nothing I love more than some good sun flare and this was beyond good. It was perfect. This just reiterates that the most beautiful things are not created by the hands of man, but by our Creator. First, I want to thank everyone who has liked and shared my page. Welcome! I'm really looking forward to capturing the lives of the people of McNairy county and surrounding areas. I love what I do and feel so blessed to be able to help people freeze moments in time through my photography and I truly value that. The winner of this giveaway is Leighann Britt!!! Congratulations! I have a box of prints you get to choose one from so message me about times/days you may be available to do this in Selmer. Everyone else, keep an eye out for upcoming giveaways and specials. I'm also on twitter @olgafordphoto and Olga Ford on Instagram so you can keep up with me there. I'm thinking of fun things I can drum up on Instagram so if you're on there you won't want to miss out. I may be at a location and think I'd like a model to shoot here and want someone to come on down. |
