Timing is everything. I never thought I would want to get into wedding photography. Pressure, long shooting hours, longer editing hours were all things that had gone through my mind every time I was contacted to shoot a wedding.
I had taken a full time job last October so that solidified the most definite lack of time. I continued to concentrate on portrait photography while working. When the weather finally broke, the messages and phone calls for sessions started coming in. I decided to step out in faith and go down to part time hours at my other job. No lie, within days, I was contacted about shooting a wedding. Since I had begun to start getting pretty acclimated here in McNairy County, in addition to now having the time, I decided to just do it! Well y'all, let me just tell you I did not regret it! It was such an honor to capture such a special day for a wonderful couple. Does Lauren not look like a princess? Perfect, right? The bridal party and groomsmen were fun to photograph. We even had great weather, which was nowhere in any forecast, and got to shoot outside. It really was a great experience for my first time being the main wedding shooter. Best wishes to Lauren and Lynn!!! I'm so happy I got to be your wedding photographer!
